Collaborating with Dr Natasha De Vere of the National Botanic Garden of Wales, who pioneered the Barcode Wales and Barcode UK initiatives, this project continued my work on landscapes to look out from, not at. An alternative way of looking at habitats and our rural environment, to give value to those often overlooked and forgotten landscapes.

Fifty images were exhibited in Nanshan Botanic Gardens China, and at the NBGW. A beautiful catalogue was designed for the exhibition.

We spent 2 weeks in China, giving lectures, talking to interesting people and environmental groups, being on television and I was even interviewed for Chinese Vogue!
